Whose Baby 2007 – Summer of Love: August 18-19, Prague – Registration Open

Dearest creatures from all over the universe,

 

Before using my priviledge of making the announcement, let me start with 
a brief quote from the editorial of a recent issue of Předboj Daily:

 

Předboj, May 5 – Sad, as it is, the look at the once-prosperous 
intergalactic transfer hub of Předboj makes one think about the 
courageous minds and ultimate spirit that formed the heart of this 
magnificient edifice which, at the time of its glory, handled 100 
flights per hour and served well over 50 Pangalactic Gargleblasters in 
one single evening. Shockingly enough, last week the place celebrated 7 
months since the departure of the last local service to Mars and the 
closing of Planet Express Shuttle Service’s desk.

 

As days went by, deteriorating exterior combined with the ever-lasting 
acid rains produced by the nearby chemical plant Spolana created 
breeding ground for a subculture characteristic by driving specific 
types of VW ground vehicles and instead of profit professing values such 
as love and peace. Today, the place is inhabited by a group totalling 25 
individuals of unrecognizable sex and age, and intelligence suggests 
that by mid August this number is to grow to over 100 during an event 
codenamed Whose Baby.

 

As a proud member of the above mentioned group, it is my great 
priviledge to invite all of you to the Summer of Love that is going to 
take place near Prague in a village named Předboj.

 

Among this year’s highlights to be expected during the event are free 
love (no restrictions of any kind whatsoever will be imposed on 
participants of the tournament), and free food served during the 
Saturday Woodstock 2007 festival.

 

Yes – exactly 38 years after hitting the ground of Bethel, New York, 
Woodstock is moving to Předboj. Janis Joplin’s songs are to be performed 
live by none less than the Endzoni Blues Band of Rostock! The Endzoni’s 
come back, long expected by many, will be accompanied by a light show 
financed from the beer spendings of the band during Friday and Saturday. 
Entrance to the Woodstock 2007 is included in the tournament fee for no 
extra charge!

 

Předboj is located about 20 minutes north from Prague. Regular vans will 
provide shuttle service between Předboj and Prague public transport. The 
place is located at the crossing of Haight and Ashbury streets in 
Předboj, which will be marked well as usual.

 

The ultimate, food, Woodstock, and sleeping will all be provided at one 
place. The very friendly couple operating the local pub is also ready to 
be part of the event.

for the tournament drink and free parking for the weekend.
