Ahoj všem,

rádi bychom Vás upozornili na to, že WFDF založila nové webové stránky s
pravidly http://rules.wfdf.org je tam přehledná HTML verze pravidel s
fulltextovým vyhledáváním a odkazy na oficiální interpretace pravidel a
decision diagramy. Krom toho je tam možnost udělat si akreditaci na znalost
pravidel ve dvou úrovních(standard a advanced).

WFDF Ultimate Rules Sub-Committee releases the new WFDF Rules of Ultimate
website

The WFDF Ultimate Rules Sub-Committee is pleased to release the new WFDF
Rules of Ultimate website, which is at http://rules.wfdf.org.   The new
site includes an interactive html version of the Rules of Ultimate, a
discussion forum and a new Rules Accreditation process.

The Rules Accreditation process is designed to allow players to demonstrate
that they have read and understood the Rules of Ultimate.  There are two
types of Accreditation:  (1) WFDF Accreditation - Standard: for all types
of players (including those who have not played a game); and (2) WFDF
Accreditation - Advanced:  for experienced players only.  Players who
successfully complete the quiz will be issued with a certificate. A
register of people who are Rules Accredited will be updated each month and
will be available from the Rules Website.  Tournament Directors and League
Directors are encouraged to require players on each team to be Rules
Accredited. This could include requiring all players to have the Standard
Accreditation and for 1 or 2 players on each team to have the Advanced
Accreditation.

There is an important note regarding Rules Accredited players:
*  They have the same responsibilities on the field as every other player
*  They do not release a Captain from their responsibility to ensure their
team upholds the Spirit of the Game
*  They do not replace the requirement for each player to learn and apply
the rules and play with good Spirit

The site also includes an updated version of the WFDF Rules of Ultimate
2013 - Appendix, as well as all other supporting documentation.

Robert "Nob" Rauch, WFDF President, stated:  "Rueben, Si, and all the
members of the Rules Sub-Committee have put a lot of thought and effort
into this first accreditation procedure.  We think it is an important step
in ensuring that players can better play fairly in our self-officiated
sport and we will be looking to improve on it as we get player experience
in the process."
