   - *Tie-breaker rules*: As stated in the Teams and Player’s Manual the
   tie-breaker rules for the round robin phases will be:****

 **1)       **won-loss records, counting only games between the teams that
are tied. When only two teams are involved, this rule is commonly called
“head-to-head”.****

**2)       **point differentials, counting only games between the teams
that are tied.****

**3)       **point differentials, counting games against all common
opponents.****

**4)       **points scored, counting only games among the teams that are
tied.****

**5)       **points scored, counting games against all common opponents.****

**6)       **SOTG average during round-robin. ****

For the Mixed division the teams will be ranked after the initial
round-robin. The ranking will be based on the follow criteria (in order of
importance):****

**1)       **Number of wins;****

**2)       **Point differentials;****

**3)       **Points scored;****

**4)       **Points conceded;****

This means that the first team from each group will be assigned a position
from 1st to 3rd and that the second of each group will be ordered a place
from 4th to 6th on the new ranking order and so on. This will define the
match-ups for the 2nd round, as explained in the diagram of the Mixed

   - *Check-in*: Check-in is at hotel Canada on Wednesday. Only the captain
   or a designated person can do the check-in for your team. At check-in, we
   will deliver the gifts for your players, including the agreements  to sign.
   - *Signing player agreements*: Each player has to sign this

   The signed agreements need to be handed in 20 minutes before your first
   game and will be checked against the roster. Please make sure all your
   players are ready then. Without a signed agreement players will not be
   allowed to play. You will  receive a pack of agreements when your team
   registers.
   - *Rules to know and adhere by*: In the agreement, in item 2), it is
   required that all players are familiar with the WFDF rules and by-laws. The

   - *Time-Out's*: Due to the packed schedule, there will be *no* time-outs

   - *SOTG Captains*: All teams should have a SOTG Captain assigned. The
   ECBU Spirit Director will be Fery Vanhemelryk and he will contact teams
   that have not designated a Spirit Captain
   - *Footwear*: Please note that the 2013 Beach Ultimate appendix to the
   WFDF rules states:
      - 3.4 Playing barefoot is highly recommended. Players may wear socks
      or any kind of foot covering of a similar texture; so long it does not
      endanger the safety of any other player.

So at first any kind of shoes that has a semi-rigid sole is not allowed
(Like Vibram 5 fingers for instance). Our recommendation goes to regular
socks, sand-socks or neoprene socks like the ones you can find at decathlon
for spearfishing or surf/bodyboarding.

   - *Online coverage*: Lots of things are done for the fans at home. Key
   place for them to visit: live.ecbu2013.org
   - *Tagging:* Tag you pictures, videos, and tweets and give your fans at
   home something to talk about: www.ecbu2013.org/tags
   - *Festival of Sant Pere*: during the ECBU the city of Calafell has many
   festivities that players/guests can visit. This includes running in
   underwear, hanging out with devils, and water gun fights. More

   - *Trade night*: Thursday night at the event will be trade night. Tell
   your players to bring fun stuff to trade :-)
